My work references impermanence in organic forms, such as our physical bodies and the natural environment. I am continuously attempting to vary the levels of conscious and unconscious play between the moves I make during the process of painting and drawing. My interest is not only in the aesthetic qualities produced by this practice, but in the essence of intuitive abstraction.
